At Ely’s Barber and Style, we want you to love your beard game and your gear. If something isn't quite right, we're here to make it right—within reason and following the guidelines below.
Return Window
You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date (or receipt date, whichever is later).
Eligibility & Conditions
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange:
The item must be in its original, unused condition (except for shirts—see below).
All original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories must be included and undamaged.
You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt email, etc.).
Beard Oils
For hygiene and safety reasons, beard oils must be unopened and the original seal intact. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on opened beard oil bottles due to personal care / health regulations.
If the bottle arrives damaged or defective (e.g., leaking, broken from shipping), contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) for a replacement or refund.
Beard Combs
Beard combs may be returned if unused and in original packaging. we cannot resell used grooming tools.
Shirts (Apparel)
Shirts may be returned or exchanged if unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags/labels still attached. We accept returns for sizing issues, color preference, or change of mind.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded (except in cases of damage or manufacturing defect):
Opened beard oils
Final sale / clearance items (if marked as such)
Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper care
How to Start a Return
Email us at customerservice@elysbarberandcigar.com or use the contact form on our site with your order number and reason for return.
We'll send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions (usually within 1–2 business days).
Package the item securely in its original packaging (or suitable box) and include the RMA number.

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong item. We recommend using a trackable shipping method—we are not responsible for lost returns.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return (usually within 5–10 business days):
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).
You will be notified by email when your refund has been processed (typically within 3–7 business days after we receive the item, depending on your bank/credit card).
Exchanges
We happily offer exchanges for size/color (shirts), subject to availability. If the exchange item is more expensive, you'll pay the difference; if less expensive, we'll refund the difference.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item
If you receive something damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at customerservice@elysbarberandcigar.com with photos of the issue. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund (including original shipping) at our discretion.
